OK. Now let’s take care of putting in the Head or pressure needed to run water through your personal water feature.
The first number that is needed is very simple. Just measure how far it is VERTICALLY, (not horizontally—-elevation difference), from the surface of the pond to the highest point where the pump discharges, i.e. waterfall top.
Now, enter in any pressure, in pounds per square inch, (PSI), any filters, UV lamps, eductors, etc. require to operate properly.

Now, select the Schedule 40 Pipe ID.
Then, enter in the total length of pipe you are using on your water feature.
There is a link to the Fittings Calculator. This is used to calculate additional pipe length equivalent to the fitting you will be using in
your water feature.
